So here’s the story...
I've have been a drummer for the last 34 years. Making Vancouver, BC, Canada my home since 1981, I've had the opportunity to become a very well-established, free-lance drummer/percussionist in the local, national and international music scene. I can be seen in the city and around the country performing anything from 3-piece kit with percussion for a bluegrass band to a full concert stage kit at any of the many Canadian music festivals supporting artists in Country, Rock, R&B, Jump Blues, Pop and Jazz as a drummer, percussionist or both. I am hired by singer-songwriters for my sensitive, groove-oriented playing and by bands who need the solid backbeat of a seasoned professional. |
The Hitmen is a band I started with three other guys in 2000. It's turned into a great fun gig and we actually make an ok paycheck when we work together as we mostly do corporate shows.. The link above will take you to the site.
I've recently been performing live shows with Russell Marsland, Shutterfly, Leonard and Sample, Jake and Elwood's Blues Brothers Revue, Gary Allegretto, Astrid Sars , Joe Fernandez, and Leora Cashe. I do a lot of free-lance gigs in and around the city as you can see.
The people that I've performed and/or recorded with in the past are many. Here are a few... Something relatively new that I'm working on is the new Drumstick Invention that my partner Russell Marsland and I have. We've recently been granted a US Patent and are working on getting it out to the many drummers who can help support it.
